    Responsibilities

    We are currently searching for an Certificate Management Security Engineer to add to our team in support of the United States Postal Service's Cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will experience a large-scale enterprise environment with over 800 Information Technology systems, thousands of servers and desktop devices, processing billions of dollars in revenue and supporting a diverse user base spread across the entire US.

     

    The successful candidate will support certificate management processes and leading practice. The candidate will leverage existing CM tool (ServiceNow), and Venafi solution to receive, QA and issue certificates for the Corporate Information Security Office (CISO).

    • Customer focus for supporting hundreds of applications / services using thousands of certificates.
    • Consult with other members of project team and end users to identify PKI requirements and develop requirements documentation.
    • Contribute to the technical direction on all areas of PKI architecture, including policies, standards, strategies, automation and governance.
    • Provide guidance to key stakeholders on PKI lifecycle, processes and procedures.
    • Work with administrators in securing, specifically in Windows/LINUX OS environment.

    Qualifications

    • Extensive experience (5+ years) cybersecurity design and/or operations experience.
    • 3+ years of related operational experience with Certificate Management.
    • Bachelor's in information security or related curriculum.
    • Over 3 years' experience as a computer system administrator.
    • Demonstrable experience with certificate management tools (Venafi preferred) with auto-provisioning.
    • Demonstrable experience with ServiceNow Change/Incident/Problem management.
    • Scripting experience using Powershell, Javascript, or Python.
    • Strong communication skills in dealing with IT developers and system administrators.
    • US Citizenship or Green Card, with US based residency for at least the past 5 years to qualify for the USPS sensitive security clearance.

    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Security +
    • CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
