Qualifying Candidate will provide support for the Air Force Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR).


Labor Category Requirements: 

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management related or appropriate technical field
  • Minimum Years of Experience: One (1) year of work experience. 
  • Certification(s): CPA, CIA, CDFM, or CGFM (one is required)
  • Must be a US Citizen. 
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise written correspondence. 
  • Detail oriented and proven organizational skills. 
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders with ease. 
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment. 

In addition to the labor category requirement, the following are highly desired:

  • Experience preparing assertion packages, evaluating and testing internal controls, designing improvement initiatives, reporting performance results and developing guidance. 
  • Accounting reconciliation experience is desired. 
  • Experience with Audits/Internal Audits. 
  • Experience with OMB-A123/SOX. 
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. 
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
